        The quality is very bad.
It could be a post war production with original parts or a repaired EK I with new hinge system.

The core and the frame are definitive original.

I think it's an original frame and core myself. The pin, and possibly the hinge has been replaced. The catch looks typical Deumer.

i think it's got a replaced pin. rest looks o.k. IMHO

Don't know why the outer corners seems to be round... the die flaws seems to be there as well on the 9 o'clock arm

There are alot of things going for this piece other than the hinge / pin. What I'd like to see are pictures from the side where the frames are joined. It "appears" there is some solder oversplash around the edges on that reverse picture. Not sure what's with that

Good spot Darrell. The solder goes around the edges of the frame. Possibly opened and then reclosed??? These are common crosses so if I were looking for one this would not be it.

Not the best pics, but does it appear that the split between frame halves is covered up by solder here? If so, this is not typically what you see on crosses.

personally i wouldnt go for it. looks like a real core in a fake frame. not good i reckon.
