Does anyone have a picture of one of the shop display piece 1939 Grand Crosses in its blue presentation case as they are purported to be found in.

Grand Cross Cases

Hi Dietrich and all viewing this thread,

One or two threads on this forum refer to these crosses being known to use the exact same style of cases as the RK KVK are found in (Gordon Williamson mentions this in a thread).
They supposedly have a recess shaped for a Grand Cross to fit. I was hoping if someone could show pics. of one and perhap elaborate on the crosses that are possibly found in them.

OK Guys, the reason I'm asking is because I have recently acquired this cross in a case which matches every detail (down to hinges/catches materials ets.), of an RK KVK case, except the recess is shaped exactly for this Grand Cross. The ribbon is RK width at 45mm.
This set has been a sleeper for decades and has never been in the hands of a collector or dealer before. So far I have struggled to find any info. or pics of a similar cased cross.
Please have a look at this pic. Sorry I've only taken the one shot so far.

Hi Pieter,

This case is dark blue and, but for the Grand Cross shaped recess, you would say it was for the Rk KVK.
