apologies for the bad images. for whatever reason, the packet scan appears to have a brown hue to it when in reality it is a greyish blue. also the back side scan is upside down. . . sorry. would love to hear opinions!

The EK is a good, original example of a Rudolf Wachtler and Lange (100).
The packet looks like a fake though but I don't know much about these and will defer to those with greater knowledge.

Nice W&L cross , but does the seam being on the left hand side of the packet give this away as a fake ?

Hi Baldy1939,

There are original packets that have a seam on the left hand side of the packet. This packet is the most famous or infamous fake packet there is on the market! The kind of paper is wrong, the lettering is bad and this one will light up under blacklight.

Thanks thomas , i am still unsure on good or bad packets as i am still learning . I just thought a good giveaway was the seam being on the left but as you now say some originals have them on the left also . Mark
