    EK2 In A Packet Question

Have been shooting some awards in Packets for the "Cases and Packets" forum and found this 1939 EK2 in a repaired packet that was acquired in the early 70's.

It is what appears to be a #13 marked Gustav Brehmer Cross in mint condition, in a Rudolf Wachtler & Lange marked packet.

The obvious thought is that it was put there post war by someone who knew nothing about makers.

    What do you think?

I agree with these guys. However, they didn't start life together.
