Is it a 65 K&Q. I don't know about the lining of the case though, looks like a towel or some carpet,

      I would say it's a normal (three part) W&L EK I.
There are with non-magnetic core, too.

I did some research on this and there was nothing I could find about a magnetic one piece EK1. That makes me believe it is a reproduction or 'fake". Is anyone else going to weigh in on this?

It is an orginial EK1 and it is of three piece construction. But I would say it looks more like a W&L than a K&Q.

            Regards,
            Stephen

              I agree. It's a well worn W&L.

                Hello Chris,

                IMHO it's an authentic 3 piece W&L.

                Regards,
                Stu

Alright I blew it, but I put it in the form of a question. The swaz is different than a K&Q.
