    TR made 1914 EK1 mm L/52

    Hello Everybody,

I got another TR made 1914 EK1. This time it is marked L/52 for C.F. Zimmermann. Unlike my unmarked cross which has a 1939 style frame this has a 1914 style frame but it does have the distinct Zimmermann style pin. So what are your opinions on this cross? All help is greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Stephen

BTW- since there doesn't seem to be any difference in the beading of Zimmermanns and Godets, it would be interesting to see if this Zim exhibits the same kinda beading as the WW1 Godet... let me get my pix out....
Robert Pierce recently posted an L/52 here, I'm sure he'll post a pic to compare your mark to his when he stops by.
Gotta love this piece - What a rare find!

I have one just like it except that the maker mark is in the center of the reverse, not under the catch. (And I have a screwback also.)

Any chance of seeing a picture of that screwback L/52 George. I just picked on up on the spur pf the moment and I would love to compare. Mines not here yet. You wouldn't happen to have a TR era 1914 EK1 screwback marked L/12 to show also would you? Thanks, Steve
