    KC with Oak Leaves?

I'm about to sell this is the Bazaar as a repro but thought I'd better check before hand!!
I think it is repro as the loop appears to be part of the casting.

        Thanks Grueni
Does that mean it is worth slightly more than the $40 i was going to ask for?

I know that there are collectors which collect this version, too. (I don't know why)
I think it's a post war version (or it's better to say fake?) from a maker which doesn't produced RK's during the world war II.

Don't know about the oaks but the cross is for sure a Souval. Certain die flaws that are only present on a Souval I can see on this example. I have owned several of these over the last thirty years or so and have done much study on them.

Ken, is the '3'in 1939 dipping below the rest of the numerals?

Would Souval use an injection mold to produce a 3 pce. Cross...?

                  Regards,
                  Dave

Note the web of material between "1" and "8"...

                          Its a fake.

I'm happy that this is fake ,but just want confirmation it is a Souval? As that seems worth more than a "standard" fake!! (desperately trying to recover the money I spent on it!!)

Dave , how can you tell an injection mold was used? How where the originals cast?
