Strange finishing to the wing tip, and also seems to miss most of the pebbling you would expect to see at the date bar and at the Swaz.

I do not like it, but it might just be a "well" worn piece.

To my opinion there are some problems in the details.
I did`t meet such type earlier. The strange details of the eagle`s head and at the date bar. It `s not Deumer exact !
It `s not seems like the stamp too.

I do not see how the pebbling would be worn off, as it would be protected somewhat by the higher areas. I would certainly want more opinions on this one!

I believe this could possibly be a match to your spange...

I have it in my 'original' file from receiving many 's.

                Hi
as far as I'm aware this is good. Not common though. An exact match surfaced a few years ago in a '55' packet. Also I've 'heard' of one also marked 55, but I have never actually seen the mark on any examples. Nevertheless IMO an original
                regards

That's right, jon. Here are two more 55's...

But still not a match, if you ask me.
The first number 9 touches the "buttom" of the bar on the spange in question, which it doesn't on the two MM55 bars.

Also I think I see some differences in the pebbling.

Nice spange, and indeed it's a "55" as far as we know

                        Best regards,
                        Ben
