L/52 Zimmermann EKI with Copper Disk

Well, I thought I would share my L/52 Zimmermann after I saw Robert post his. What is neat about this piece is that it has a copper disk that was made to fit it. Check it out and let me know what you think.

I love it! Out of the woodwork, my friend. Love those personal touches these screwbacks have. Outstanding piece!

Nice piece, especially with that owner added plate.

                  Hello,

A beautiful cross no doubt but what purpose does the second disk serve, simply another anti-rotational?

                    William,

I think it would allow for a cleaner-looking flatter wear.

                      Tighter, too.

I think for tighter wear, like this piece of fabric I found attached to this L/50 I just posted.

I have a piece of fabric just like that on the back of this cross. I will have to get a shot of the back later.

I was going to say that, George, but thought I'd get an argument. Just joking, William.

Here's another L/52 SB for sale...

It looks like it's stamped between the ant-rotation pin and the top of the cross.
