    MM62 KVK1 on E-Stand

I have a problem with a mm62 KVK1 that is on sale atm on the e-stand. Something doesn't add up.

    Thread is: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=261682

The cross itself looks a lot like a mm62, the hinge could be but the pin and catch is imo way off. The mm on the other hand looks like a good mm62, I'm puzzled.

    Here's Fred's cross:

and the 62 tombak catch. The strange thing is that the pin and catch on Fred's cross looks like it's taken straight away from mm43 Julius Bauer?!

          Frank,
If you need to see any more details, let me know and I will post additional pics.
I am confident this is an original piece, perhaps it is just a "62" pin/catch configuration that you are not familiar with.
          Regards,
          Fred

Looking at this badge, I also agree that it's an original '62' with different pin assebly, variation. The outline of the reverse is identical to known 62's. I don't have a problem with this badge being made by '62'.

Perhaps Fred. I checked all my files and reference material before posting in order not to sabotage your sale. I don't have a problem with the cross or the setup on the back as such but found the mm62/43 combo to be so unusal that I thought it would be worth to discuss it.
