Is my EK2 genuine ?

Hi all I've had my one and only EK2 for a little while, and I'm wondering if someone can give me their views on it. It has a magnetic core and is unmarked, it came with a packet, but looking on the forum , the packet doesnt look good to me. Thanks for any feedback, regards, Jeff

I don't care for the packet but I like the cross,

Cross is good, packet is definately a repro.
For years they are on the market in combination with good crosses or with those 666 and *** marked convincing fakes.
My first EK2 I bought about 18 years back, at Ciney, and it was in such a packet.
The fold/flap is on the left side, which is not common (though not impossible), no maker mark, which is not common (though not impossible), the desgination is not correct, the paper is wrong.
Still they are sold everywhere as original...
