    Screwback EK 1 Spange

For your consideration, gentlemen, this screwback Spange to the EK 1:

    Height: 30.6 mm
    Width: 45 mm
    Weight: 12.35 g

There is a stabilizing point on the back of the eagle's head. No mark.

    Opinions, please.

So sad, this thread without a reply for 10 years...

In my opinion your Spange is perfectly good, and exquisitely rare. I don't know the maker, but I would like to. It closely resembles a Juncker, and it may be a late Juncker after all, but the datebox is very Deumerish. And I can't think of two Spange designs more different that the Juncker and the Deumer.
    Best regards,

Here's a better shot of this one.

I guess we can call it the "Hybrid" for lack of a better term. It's got elements of Juncker, and elements of Deumer, in the design.

              Interesting Spange indeed.
              Beak looks strange though.
