    Hello People,

    I have this very nice EK1 1939 "26" - B. H. Mayer's Kunst-prageanstalt

    Weight: 17,4gr
    Dimensions: (44,32x44,30)mm
    Thickness: 2,81mm

    Some opinion?

            It is the same type of EK1 1939 for me...

            Only the hinge seem me little different...

            It is OK for me!!!

              Our mm's might be a little different also, but I'm not keen on the various stamps Mayer used on his EKI's...

              Mine is a little more square, less rectangular.

                  I suppose it was an optical illusion. The box looked more elongated in the reverse photos of your cross. Looks fine to me.

                          Here is another picture of the front where you can see that my cross is a bit off center see where the red marks are it´s not as wide on that side. Would that be common for crosses to be like that?
                          I dont see that mistake in the above crosses

                            Yes, this is common among certain makers. It's the finishing technique I believe...

                            Take a look at this W&L for instance...top arm off center...finishing I believe...

                              Here's one more W&L. I don't know, it may have been in their dies cutting too little on one side, too much on the other. I see it on various crosses...
