    My first 1st Pattern

    Just in for xmas, been trying to start a scalloped collection for ages and this is the first I've been able to get my hands on, cheers Darrell .

    Detail is better than I thought, hope you guys like it.

                            Do you find these spanges with a maker mark? Is the maker known on this specific spange?

                              I've never seen one of these with a maker mark. There is a similar style of early Second Class Spange, however, that is very much like the "regular" Spangen made by "L/57" (Boerger & Co.) and there has been some speculation of a connection there.
