    Ek2 Mm27

    Hi all,
recieved this MM27 EK2 with orange ribbon today. Must say i am very pleased with it, as it has a wonderful golden patina to it! Looks like the 1939 is very low, but that is because the core is a little loose. No Flock worries here!
    Best regards,
    Lee

Very nice 27 EKII. The cross really has nice frosting remaining on the beading, something I rarely see on the 27's. Nice cross, Lee!

Great example of a '27' and in super condition. I'm a big fan of mint ( lets not start that debate again! ) and shiny but I love the look of your cross, especially in that first pic.

                Lee,

I've got two '27' EKII's with the same ring stamps, the same cores, but the frames are different. One is like yours in detail with cross-hatching on the beading in the center adjacent the swastika, and on the outer edges of the arms on the frame beading, the other different. It's possibly a variant, another frame used by this maker.

                      Hello Robert,
very interesting to see the differences between the 2 crosses. What would be the more common, with cross hatching or without?
Would be nice to see other 27s so we could get some kind of idea, made a search but didn't come up with much as most of the pics were already deleted.

Many thanks for the comments on this cross, out of the 6 different crosses that i have, i think this is the best!

                      Best regards
                      Lee
