    my first schinkel

    Hi friends,

    here is my first schinkel, it arrives today. As you can see it´s dirty and not in mint condition, any idea how can i clean it?
    It have black color on the frame who it goes scratching with the finger. Is it dirt or a repainted black core?
    It is non magnetic, what maker?

    very nice, I wouldn't cleaned that baby

    its so dirty, niiiiiiiiiice. don't clean it, you will remove the history from the cross then, collected over 60 years

      That cross looks just great as it is , don't attempt to clean it .

        Nice early Schinckel EK2 , ..... just do not clean it !!!!
        Usually unmarked and who made it ? ....no list exist and undeterminable .

                    That's a great, early piece. Congratulations!

                    I too would leave it in it's vintage 'jacket'. Beautiful in photos, better in hand!
