I just picked up this gorgeous W&L EKI off of the e-stand last week for my son, who has decided to once again join his dad collecting! It's a happy day for me. His Zimmermann EKI comes in this week also. He's outdone me with his very first piece. Enjoy the photos.

I should have said, "I just picked this up off of the e-stand last week for my son...with his money." I did the other years ago when he was fifteen or so, and the hobby never stuck. After seeing my collection, the bug started chewing at him again, and he just had to have some of it again. When he laid down 1K, I knew he was serious.

He's off to a good start, yes. He's home on leave right now from Africa, and had a good evening going through my tunics and badges, etc...I think it sparked an old interest that he once had. To tell you the truth, anything you can do to keep a tight bond between you and your children is very important, most essential. I've already got a Christmas present picked out for him. I hope he doesn't read this, but, he's getting a mint Deumer EKII.
