EK1 old fake

I have the double of the one shown by Andik on page 1 of this thread, do i understand that this is a genuine one piece? Are they rarer than the multi piece? are the values similar or does the one piece command a premium ?

that was me !

I totally c****d up on that one, the EK's had got switched in their cases.The Souval is now back where it belonged. The solid cross from the other case matches the Andik one even down to the dimpled black area and the two tiny retaining pins on each side of the hinge. Would it not be much easier for a faker not to put in those tiny pins ? Just asking, not trying to prove mine right.I respect the expertise you guys bring to this forum.

But why the solid crosses? I read somewhere that they where made for the Kriegsmarine. Maybe to prevent rusting between the pieces.
