Hmm, same pattern in the black paint. Strange looking pin and clasp.

Are the one piece versions early or late war? And why are they in one piece?

        Hello,

I lean toward to say that this cross is a genuine piece.
I have added the thread over the mentioned L15 one piece cross.
It shows well spotted deviations to the discussed piece here regarding date, surface, pin and inner corners of the rim.

Franki, that one looks like Floch trash to me, and beading etc seems to match up to this one IMHO. I change my mind, the one at the top of this thread also sems highly dubious now.
          I'll go Floch myself

          regards

Here's another one of WW1 that I posted in the Imperial Forum long ago without getting ANY response.... one piece, similar paint job, since we're discussing one piece EKs right now...

                    Hallo Rainer,

this cross is a very common EK1 that was probably produced between 1920 and 1941.
                    It is an unquestionable original.

                      Hello Rainer,

it is no more to say to this fine genuine 1914 cross.

And know whe're still not certain about the 1939 cross...

I can say only this - with all my little knowledge of this hobby I believe that the cross in question is an original EK I.

PS. If it will be proven it is a fake than it would have been a fake that had fooled me.

So we had 2 saying it's a genuine piece, 1 against and 3 that don't know what to think. Hm, very dubious.
Maybe we could make a poll

I can not tell I am an expert in this field but with so much experience I have gathered in the last years - I say it is an original piece.
