i recently bought an EK2. it was very dirty and dull, i cleaned it up a bit and discovered that not only was the core made of iron, the frame and jump ring were magnetic and looked like silver or chrome plated steel. the frame is a yellowish color and there are numerous rust spots breaking through the plating. what is this??? best johnny l.

hi robert; i can e-mail pics to you but posting is beyond my ability at this time . however the cross looks like a normal EK2 except for the rust pimples emerging from the frame which is definately plated steel. i can send it to you for a hands on exam.Comment
