Screwback EK1. Opinions please.

Recently someone offered me a few German awards, including this EK1. It is unmarked. Your expert opinions please.

I don't really like the looks of this cross, but it's had to tell from these pics.

From the bottom pic it looks like a one-piece construction.
Do you happen to know if it is magnetic??

Based on these pics I would pass on it.

I can't tell from the photos you offered whether my cross is the same as yours. Our spin backs are different, but maybe yours was changed out at one time, who knows? Here's mine to compare..

The maker of my cross is unknown, in Gordon Williamson's book on the 1939 EK. Your date and swastika (core) is different from mine. Look at the '3' in 1939, very different. IMO, this looks like the 1-piece fake, often marked '51'.
