    EK2 WW1 Question

Today i visited a Veteran in our town. I had the oppurtunity to look in his Souvenir box where he keeps some WW2 and WW1 Patches and Medals.
What struck my eye was a beautifull EK2 from WW1.
The makers mark was CD and then 800 (i guess that is for silver) can anyone tell me the maker to that mark?

The maker that used the CD mark is unknown, at least according to this website:

    http://www.kaisersbunker.com/stuff/1914_EK2_makers.htm

The 800 refers to the silver content of the frame and suspension loop.

It is one of the more desireable Imperial EK2s because the sculpting of the crown and oakleaves is beautifully done.

If you want more information, post your question in the correct forum: Imperial Awards.

Thx for the Info. The Cross is really beautifull. At least compared to my KO EK2.
I will ask for more info in the correct Thread and open my eyes
