Another Soft Cased EK2 -

This case is definately for an EK2 having a recessed area for the cross and the ring that holds the loop. It has a padded top in a creamy satin material. My gut tells me that rather than being a late war case that it is the opposite but I have no idea. Any clues to the maker of the cross would be much appreciated. Your thoughts and opinions are welcome and appreciated. Richard

Maker Mark? Unusual in that this is on the outide of the ring. Thanks

The manner in which the corners of the cross strike me as unusual. Does this attribute help identify the maker? The paint has that nice eggshell finish like you see on Juncker RK's.

After searching for hours I am pretty sure that this is an ORTH. This is based upon:
1. The swas being lower than the beading
2. The unique corner beads
3, The back of the loop on the cross is not soldered to the cross
4. The paint finish
5. Other

Can an expert tell me if this is a likely match?

Orth was maker 15 or L/14. I do not know what to make of the MM if that is what it is unless it is an "O".

Also the case still pussles me. I still am inclined to see this as an early one. It has a really great feel to it which I have never quite had in an EK2 before.
