my only doubt is the mark. never seen before.

I don't like the maker mark. the "J" seems off. You should post up close up pics of the swastikas and eagles, sword grips, hinge and pin from different angles to be sure.

It does not look like it was pasted in, but it looks like it has been fooled with in some way. Strange.
