    L/19 EKI Pinback arrived!

It's been a long week waiting for my new L/19 to arrive in the mail. And it's a treasure. I thought C. Zimmermann had a strong pin assembly - this catch is mega-tough. Love the rich dark patina over the entire piece, including the deeply-struck maker mark...

This is a very nice example of an Hoffstadter! Congrats!

Thank you all very much. It has a brass core also, like every other L/19 I've seen posted on the forum.

congratulations on this "Robert Pierce Condition" EK, Robert
The catch actually reminds me of the Real Wernstein IAB catches, is there, by any chance a relationship in the hardware suppliers or am I just seeing things again?
                            Cheers

                              Hi Rainer

You know, I just can't say. But it does look just like the catch on the Wernstein IAB you supplied me recently. Maybe someone with better understanding can answer that. They look near identical.
