I have this IC 1st. class, but I can not identify the makers mark. Can anyone help? What is your opinion about the Cross?

    Thanks in advance

The makers mark looks like L/52 which is Zimmerman.

Certainly an L/52-marked Zimmermann-made EK1. Classic L/52-in-a-box stamp. Check this link for pictures of an identical EK1 but with Zimmermann's '20' mark.

          Zimmermann EK1

These EK1s are identical to Godet EK1s as there was a reciprocal agreement between these two firms over Iron Cross - and RK - manufacture. Nice cross, Jörg.

            What about L/50?

Could be but it looks like a 2 at the end.

Well then i go for the L/52. Front date match my both 20/L52, as it would on a L/50 also, but a 0 is not like a 2 on a bad stamp.

                  Hello friends,

                  thank you for your opinions.
I´m allready not sure about the maker, but what I can say is that the last number is a "0".

I compared it with my Zimmermann IC and the cross is identical, only a little little bit smaller (0.5 mm).

Not easy to say. Can anbody post a picture of a L/50.

If you look in the members forum Calvin Hall posted photos of a cased L/50 he just picked up. I don't think it's been 2 weeks since he posted the thread.

Jörg does your cross has the arms bend... I found a lot of Zimmermann 20 croses bend, and I would like to know about L/52 model if there are bend croses too.
Your cross look exacly as my non-comercial EK I Zimmermann.

                          Hi Ferràn,

the arms of the cross are not bend/vaulted.

I hope to find something out with the links from David and Mikael.
