The original Staudegger RK is also a L/12 but still rests in Austria

About a year ago I was offered this grouping also by another dealer when there was also a S&L KC included together with the 800 L/12 KC DN sold now.

I personally find that the price for the 800 L/12 was a little bid high in DN norms but I would have payed more if it was indeed Staudeggers KC. Normally DN sells the 800 L/12 KC's with modified ribbon for around 7500 euro.

    All the best

You are absolutely right. And even if they would be - they would still come from the Präsidialkanzlei and would therefore be a licensed manufacturer.

The time frame for a Ritterkreuzträger to buy aprivate replacement, i.e. going to a local shop instead to the PKZ was for a L/12 marked cross very limited. In fact, it was only around 7 month.

So how many of the 1060 recipients (up to Oct. 41) went out and bought a L/12 marked Juncker?

These myth are not supported either by documented facts nor by statistics. The situation with the RK and higher was a lot different than it was with the EK's.

My guess is that prices will increase even more in the future. And Juncker crosses will remain to be the most sought after.
