In reviewing other posts, this EK1 looks very similar to the one posted here:

              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=246222

Would appreciate any feedback regarding this post and if the two posts are indeed anyway related.

              THANKS -

                Hello Dan,

Your cross looks like an unmarked K&Q (65) to me.

                Regards,
                Stephen

                  Stephan,

Thank you for the information. Is K&Q the initials for Klein & Quenzer AG of Oberstein and what would the "65" signify? I know this is true for their buckles the manufactured but was unaware they also produced EK's. THANKS>

                    Hello Dan,

Yes it does stand for Klein & Quenzer of Oberstein. 65 is K&Q's Prasidialkanzlei number which is the number which they were mean to put on the awards they made. I just put the 65 in my post because there are some collectors who do not refer to the name of the companies but instead refer to their Prasidialkanzlei number. Sorry for the confusion.

                    Regards,
                    Stephen

I agree. It also looks like a '65' to me.
