    My First Cased EK1 L/13

Here's a recent Estand pickup. It's my first cased EK1. It's an L/13 marked Meybauer cross with the matching case, inscribed with the maker's name. I am working on a little side collection of Meybauer crosses, so getting an L/13 marked piece which I never had and a marked case was a bonus. Here's the cross first. It's not mint but still in decent shape.

Here's the top of the case. The case is in really great, clean condition. I was pretty impressed by it actually.

One last shot. How many makers marked thier cases like this? I've seen Duemer also, but it doesn't seem that common really does it?

            Hi Steve,

I love the aged look to this cross, and I especially like the maker's mark, the lower half of the '3' being smaller than the top.

Great set, congrats! I think Meybauer & Deumer are the only ones who marked their cases like this....

Thanks guys. This was a set that made total sense for my collection. I'll be looking for a Deumer marked case next.

Here is a top shot of the cross in it's "nest" I had to post this here to access the photo from another location.
