The Iron Cross second class 1939 than Schinkel version

I would like give an overview about the different schinkel versions second class.
Some schinkel EK II’s I can assign to a maker.
I will show schinkel versions and intermixed versions. The intermixed versions are EK II’s with schinkel elements and normal/standard EK elements.

The term “intermixed” version is made of my own and it’s no official term.

    Overview:
    1. maker Deumer (magnetic)
    2. maker Deumer (non-magnetic)
    3. maker Meybauer (magnetic)
    4. maker unknown
    5. maker unknown

    1. Iron Cross 1939 Second Class Schinkelversion

    maker: Wilhelm Deumer from Luedenscheid

The association to Deumer cames from an 1914 EK II with maker’s mark L/11. This schinkelversion and the 1914 EK II L/11 have the same distinctive framedesign. The 1914 and 1939 EK II versions are with magnetic and non-magnetic cores.

        3. Iron Cross 1939 Second Class Schinkelversion

        maker: Paul Meybauer from Berlin

The association to Meybauer cames from a rare Schinkel EK I version with a distinctive Meybauer-pin (like on the standard Meybauer EK I). This pin was used ONLY by Meybauer.

            Schinkel “intermixed”

            Attention:
The term “intermixed” version is made of my own and it’s no official term.

The frame isn’t complette schinkel like but no standard EK II like, too.
There are elements of schinkel and standard EK II intermixed.

              I know only this exemplar.

                progressive“ EK II version

The frame has the normal EK II design, but number design, size and the little swastica are elements of schinkel. I don’t have this Schinkel version and I have only this picture.
I have only seen 2 EK II of this type.
An association to schinkel family is a matter of opinion. I think it’s the next level after the schinkel EK II number 5.
In fact it’s no schinkel EK II but through the mixing of different design elements (schinkel and standard) it’s an interesting EK II version for an EK-collector.
