2nd class spange bar fake (I think)

Hi guys.
Here is a spange bar a friend of mine owns, I think it is a fake.
The head is just to strange, and the ribbon bar itself is obvious from the catch and EK fastener underneath.
What do you guys think?

That round, solid, "pipey" - looking thing (brass colored) is the Spange prong?

Nope, it is the catch of the ribbon bar.

I think that the ribbon is modern.

I don't think that the shape of the head alone is a cause for concern. Here's an unmarked Spange with a similar shaped head.
(I don't think these two Spangen are the same, however. The legs on Mads' eagle are more spread apart than the legs on this one. Also, the spaces between the eagles' heads and their right wings -- on the viewer's left -- are different.)

I think you are right, they are not the same but quite simmilar.
Also note the bad cutout on the space between the left wing and the head on my friends spange.
I cannot take of the spange since it does not belong to me, but there are lumps of solder on the prongfixings.
That is bad sign in itself I think.
Anyway , The ribbonbar on which this is attached to is surely bad.
This is probably going back where it came from.
