Another question . . . from the same collection. This is a Grand Cross copy (99% sure), and I am not sure of the vintage, manufacurer, etc. Would love information on it. Thanks in advance.

Postwar Souval?

Peter: That was my guess, but again, I have never really paid attention to this type of piece. If post-war Souval, I wonder what a fair market value would be. I want to be fair to this collector, and need to establish a fair market value for such an item.

IMO not a Souval post war copy; the core of these kind of copies a much more flat (same with the knight cross copies). I think a modern copy with "forced patina". I bought a knight cross copy some month ago which has the same rusted core.

The swastika and numerals look too high for a Souval.

Not an old Souval for sure.
