    What are Rounders Worth?

Got a Rounder in a collection, and have no idea of fair market value. Can anyone provide assistance? Thanks in advance.

Nowadays, as more and more post war fakes are named (politically correct) "early reproductions", I guess there is a value. Personally I don't think it should be more than the material value plus a mark-up. That would leave you with a selling price of maybe $ 30.- (that is already with a 200% mark-up!)

The trend is clear and it is this: the higher the value of a fake (or politically correct: a "reproduction") the higher the value of the original becomes.

The last one I know of sold for $ 600.-. I guess you like that number better...

Dietrich, thank you very much for your reply. Knowing what they sell for, as reproductions, I can now include a fair offer in the collection that I am buying. I personally would not buy one for that price ($600).

... and neither did I suggest to use that number. If you want my suggestion I say: destroy it!
