    Hi guys
    my 2c
I'd like to believe this, but I don't. Stranger things have happened during the 60yrs since the war, then the 5 during war. I've said this before but: I could do this tonight, I could even file it completely flat, but it don't make it war-time. And what is it painted with? KVK2s are golden brown...
    regards

      And 1sts are silver......
I really dont care if it was converted wartime or last week and no one will ever know its not for sale or will it be, it was less than the cost of a KVK2nd So i only have £8 backing this pony, Looking at the shape of a KVK2nd i think the rear would have to be ground down to succesfully attach a pin and catch (by whoever did it),
Either way it is what it is a mucked about with KVK2nd if you believe some items due to necessity were coverted war time then some of them have to be right.
This came from a gentleman i know who buys WW2 stuff i went to look at his latest "haul" mainly buttons some badly damaged poor late war cloth bits and bobs a couple of tinnies and this.

Doesn't add up to me. It is logical that a soldier would file it down so that it would sit nicely and look like a 1st class from the front.
8 British Pounds is a lot of money in some parts of the world. In China there are people who work for a quarter (1/4) of a British Pound.
