Hi Tony ... The Cross you posted is the same one Tom Hansen owned back in 2004 . It was questioned why the MM was in a different position and I also noticed the Font didn't match ..but other than that it was accepted as an original Godet .
Did you buy it from Tom ?

I bet this one's racked up some frequent Flyer Miles If I were you ..I'd try to reach Tom to see where he found it so you know its background ...it would be nice to know if it came from a Vet and if there was a story behind it.

Yes Mike you are right on both the addiction and the DKIS. I just could not resist this 6 rivet Godet. Let's see if the DKIS or a 10 rivet comes along first.

Tom Hansen just confirmed that this was his Godet ...also that this DK was SEM tested and proven without a doubt to be a War Time DK.

Someone told me once that the "Gene Pool" for for high end Awards is very small and what another Collector has today ...might be ours to "baby sit" tomorrow.
