iron cross makers

hi all just wondering i have the list of the markers of the the ek world war 1 but what is the main one most people look for a mate told me ko is this true or is it down on the condition of the cross?

KO seems to be the favored manufacturer, their EKs are finer than most but a rare maker in shoddy condition is worth more. BTW, you'll do better with your question if you post it in the Imperial Militaria forum on this website. Cheers, Ausgang
