RK Opinion?

Hi,

I'm absolutely brand new here and just thinking of "dipping my toe in the water" of collecting. I've been "lurking" for a couple of days to read some of the excellent info in the forum, so time for my first question!

I've been offered this RK for sale - does it look genuine? Any opinions will be greatly valued.

(Sorry, the images are really big, but I don't know how to shrink them).

Its probably blinidingly obvious to you guys, but please can you tell me what the giveaways are? (At the very least, it'll save me bothering you guys next time I see one the same!)

Also, is there a definitive guide to the award that I can read? (again , to save you guys from being pestered by the "newbie!)

You are very welcome Jon! Just use the 'search' option and type in Juncker Knight's Cross

The 'differences' will be quite obvious..

The Cross that you show could have been had for about $150.00 from a fellow named MOREGI (sp?) a couple of years ago. He's based in UK

The Iron Time by previtera and the Iron Cross of 1939 by Williamson are the best references I have seen. No reference is without any errors, but these are the best to me
