I was browsing the EK1's on the website and came across this Zimmerman:

Near the left end of the bottom of the 6 o'clock arm, some of the frame beading appears to be fused (not well defined). Is this typical for Zimmerman crosses?
Also on this example, some of the corners of the framing appear to having beading to the very point while other corners do not have as much detailed definition. Is this also typical of zimmermans?
Is this a result of the die becoming worn and the loss of definition over time?
