    Juncker Oakleaves

Does anyone here have a Juncker made, marked L/12 800 Oakleaves award....and will post a picture of the markings and texture?

There seems to be a few different examples and I'm wondering what the collecting community accepts as period!
    Regards,
    Dave

I have looked for the L/12 Oak and Oak with swords for years and have never been lucky enough to find them. I believe that Detlev Niemann and Gordon Williamson both have illustrated good L/12 Oaks.

          Hi Dave

I'm sure you've already seen Winklers current oaks but to help the discussion along, here they are.

As you know, the position and style of 'L/12' marking compares reasonably well to the oaks illustrated by Niemann and Gordon, but differs greatly to that on the Oaks and Swords illustrated by Niemann.

I've considered the Winkler oaks myself a few times during his 'specials' - so have a personal interest - but I've never even read of a member here having a set of either the L/12 Oaks or the OL+S - so I fear this is the most you'll get by way of comparative pictures.
