    1 piece EK1 question

    Hello to all,
We have discussed about all variants of Iron Crosses here but I can't find a thread that covers Iron crosses that are 1 piece construction instead of the standard 3 piece.

We know the spanish and Japanese made EKs are 1 piece.

My question is whether the German makers made 1 piece EK1s ?
I looked thru Gordon's Ek book and can't find any infor on this.
it would be great if members could list out the acceptable pieces here for future reference.

At the moment I know two versions of one piece EK I.

Version 1 is a normal formed EK I, but I think it's a very rare version.
Maybe it's a juweller fabrication. I have only this picture from Niemann update.

Version 2 is a typical Schinkel EK in one piece style.
They are Schinkel EK II with the same style, too.

                  Hello,

please do not forget the one piece SCHINKEL EK1.
Unfortunatly is the manufacturer of these crosses unknown yet.

                  Best Franki
