    EK 2 Maker Mark help

    I would appreciate any ideas as to the makers of this cross. it has a stamp on the ring that I cannot make out.

            That's a very unusual cross. The first '9' in the date really has me searching. It's got a very different bottom half. I've not given up yet.

              Hello Andy and Robert,

              If I am not mistaken this cross is made by Beck, Hassinger & Co. The only thing is the mark on the ring looks nothing like their mm 123.

                I was just finishing up taking photos of my '123' when my computer e-mail clicked to this update of yours. I believe you're right, a '123'. Here are those photos of mine. And it's very interesting to note that the link you provided to the forum's data base shows the same silver under-layment of silver metal under the black paint. It appears to be a nickel silver 'wash' over the magnetic core, very unusual. Take a look...
