      btw the seller has the official document and this rk was attributed to a luftwaffe Junker (Ju-88) pilot Werner Baumbach. It even came with an oak to the rk. many details given.

      Producer of the knight cross: Steinhauer + Lück in Lüdenscheid.(oh well....)

                        Interestingly, there is a very similar RK on eBay now, #190139869778. Note exact similarity of the "drunken 1939" (leaning to the left) and close to Rounder edges. This one is hmed 800 L12. Some cross hatching seems to be evident.

                        There was no question that this was a fake. Seeing an identical one with a different hm nails it.

                          Ive seen these back in 2000 brought from Europe by Scott Babcock of traders of the lost surplus. Flat dates,very light weight compaired to a real one.Very poor quality compaired. Good as a display on a tunic only.
