[quote=robert pierce;2144534]Can you be more specific, jon? Post #'s ?

jon, If you're speaking of the two examples just above, the first is from Detlev, and the second piece I harvested here from the forum after multiple s. It was declared an original Juncker. I have four EKII spange myself, the rest have been gathered from threads confirming their originality by various senior members, perhaps even yourself. But if you say you don't like it, jon, and have good reason to suspect it as bad, I'll move it to my 'suspect' file.

I've never liked these L/12 marked spangen. There has been many a thread about these too, I think the general opinion was a thumbsdown? I thought 'we'd pretty much given up on them... maybe I'm wrong
How about another thread to finally work this out?
      regards

        Hi Jon,

I think those 2 are Deumers with a stamp added, so does Robert.
No way these are Juncker Spangen.

        Best regards,
        Ben

I'm sure all the current contributors to this thread will have seen this, but there is still a ton of good info in this thread I started way back in 2005 on just this topic. L/12 marked EK2 spanges. Do they exist???

            Thank you Marshall,

Threads like the one you posted and others like it have been the foundation on which myself and others have put our trust. If there is still some confusion in anyone's mind as to originality of any of what's been set before us, let it be known now, that others might bring forth evidence that would disprove any of these pieces, or further strengthen our belief in them. Still, originality is our main focus, and I trust always will be.

Hi Ben, I was under the impression these 'L/12's were Deumer-esque, but still repros. Has anyone put one of these and a known Deumer side by side?
I had one of these about 8yrs ago, (from Detlev) and he took it back as repro...
              nonetheless interesting thread!
              regards

Not too many of us keep files of repros we've returned 8 years ago, but might you have that file still, jon? It would be interesting to compare it to these.

Here is an L/11 and one that has been identified a Juncker...differences...

Does this look familiar, or different? These L/12 maker marks have been reproduced in many forms...

I'd say it's the same, look at the inner wing edges

Here's one more shot of the same badge. jon, yours shows terrible facial detailing! The other has good definition. Plus, your has the solid one-piece prong setup, which is bogus from the start.

                            not always...
but I grabbed this without a rear view.

                            so
what do you think of these style L/12s?
Biro's thread is interesting, but any conclusions?
                            regards

                              jon,

I personally like the EKII spange in post #42. The others that were harvested from threads in the past, I have to be honest, I don't have experience with these spanges. I don't care for their L/12 mark, and that tends to make me feel that they are 'suspect.'
