Goerge, your example and my example are identical to Detlev's L/12 which he recently sold. Also seems to be identical to the Duemer William posted. Strange uh? I am still trying to figure out why an L/12 mark is considered an upgrade to some...Jeff

      Hi Jeff,

I can't really explain it, but if you sell your cased L/11 you might get $ 350 max, while you will get about $ 650 for your cased L/12.

      Best regards,
      Ben

These L/12 marked pieces are completly overrated and overpriced.

I know this is redundant, but I will say it again: Why mess with a good piece by adding an L/12 mark to it? And Ben you have the correct answer!

                Hi guys
I can't really add anything new about these, alot of previous threads about them too, and nothing really solid coming to light.
These are relatively common, and I can't believe the mm was added by a crooked dealer to enhance value, just by the sheer numbers of these... anyone seen any other style spangen marked L/12 to enhance value?
Why would juncker make two completely different versions? anyone have one of these with provenance?
I hate this spangen just for all the question marks over it! IMO there are too many other one-lookers around to gamble. I wish we knew more
                regards

                  Jon,

What I find strange is that some of these come with F&R marked packets, at least three that I have seen.

I don't suppose Junker bought a lot off Duemer to fulfill a contract and just put thier own mark on? Who would have noticed or cared back then?

anyone checked out the markings on fake L/12 Rks...
                      regards

I have seen this type of font on several different clasps, both classes.
The font is not original Juncker.
It looks like it's engraved instead of struck.

                          Regards,
                          ben
