    Hello,

Looks like a Souval frame with an Orth core perhaps ? ? ?

        Thanks guys!

This is then second L/14 I have ever seen. What made me do some extra homework was, that makermark seemed to engraved rather than stamped in some of the pictures I saw - and the First L/14 I saw was marked with embossed mark on screw nut (like L/58's)

        875 EUR at http://www.military-antiques-stockholm.com/

I dont want to spend that much in to my collection now, but rare bird it is.

          Hello,

Then right away I would go with a period example and pick up the Vienna manufactured cross..........

            Hello,

this depicted L/14 screw back is a textbook one inclusive the makers mark.
I agree with you that this cross is a very seldom piece but the retail price is funky.

I have attached one of mime for a comparission.

              Thank Franki,

Is yours magnetic? Picture I posted - it looks like that color of the metal under black paint is bronze/Copperish?
