Is this iron cross w/spange any good?

I bought this about five years ago (along with other medals) from a guy who bought them at an estate of an medal collector.

No veteran story here... so... I am always leary.

Does it look real? If so... what is it worth?

I'm very sorry to say that the spange is a well known repro, and I suspect the cross maybe repro too.
