Help to identify EK II maker

    Hi guyz.
I have this unmarked EK II and maybe someone out there can help to identify the maker. And at the same, which books do u recommend to a "newbie" in this exciting world of EK's??
    TIA

I think it's the same maker like the knightcross EK II's.
This EK II has only a narrow frame.

I have no idea on the maker.

As for books, there are a couple that come to mind - first and foremost "Iron Time" by Stephen Previtera and secondly "The Iron Cross of 1939" by Gordon Williamson.

                    Thx Mike.
I got this book called "Detecting the fakes", now it is time to move on.
I'm going to look for The Iron Cross of 1939 asap.
                    Regards

Martin, the new edition of "Iron Time " is currently on sale - I would go for this book first - it's excellent (it does cost quite a bit - but worth the money). "The Iron Cross of 1939" is also good, but from my experience harder to get hold of. I have a copy of "Detecting the fakes" by Robin Lumsden, it's a good reference - but (sorry Robin) this forum is one of the best (along side GCA) for detecting the fakes.

It's also interesting that the numbers in the dates are very different - in particular the "3"s.
