    Juncker KC

    Hi all,I'm looking at getting myself a Juncker Knights Cross to add to my starting KC collection,is there anything wrong with this one apart from the reverse frame dint? Any opinions would be appreciated.

    Steiner63....

    It's fine - and the price about right from a dealer.... but you'll need to ask yourself how much the reverse frame 'ding' will bug you in years to come.

      Hi;
      Id say go for it.I dont think anyone has tried to correct a fault it looks like theres been a slight impact on that corner.Nothing that a good silversmith couldnt sort out in a few minutes.
      Cheers

        I'd rather disagree...

        For $10,950.00 I would be inclined to wait until I found a piece that didn't have the obvious 'negatives' that this set exhibits.

        Granted, the Cross is good, original, albeit slightly flawed. However, the loop surely isn't period and the case yet to be shown as original. I was advised some time back that the case was vetted by Detlev and a COA issued but I'm still awaiting confirmation of that assertion.

        The Cross is shown in a 'popular' publication attached to a set of Oaks so obviously some mixing and matching has gone on to produce a 'cased set'.
        Regards,
        Dave
