    To me it looks like a dipper.... and is the 800 backwards or is the picture reversed???

      Are these dippers in any relation to the post-war Souval firm?

      Perhaps Gordon Williamson will come in and give reason to the authentication.

        No relation to Souval. Souval used only one set of dies for their post-war Knight's Crosses. You will find varying quality of black painted finished, from baked stove enamel (paint) to a light spray paint that flakes away.
