Odd Cloth Gold DK--Could It Be Good?

Acquired this Cloth German Cross in Gold in the early 70's and have never seen another like it.

Would really like to get the opinions of some of our more knowlegeble members, please.

Well nothing I would have in my collection. Weird in the sense that if it is a reproduction that had so much time put into it that they would forget the date.
